Also no one cares. Being a comedy writer on a ghost town of a website won't do anything for your career. The front page audience used to be idiot kids so it was fairly easy to write for them. The "humour" hasn't changed but the audience has.

The writing isn't engaging or clever or anything. At least McSweeney's was literate and interesting and produced high quality content for years before they all got trump derangement syndrome. SA has always had garbage.

This is the type of narcissistic behavior that you can also find in self-proclaimed neckbeard "Nice Guys" that think they deserve to get laid by being "nice".

No one is obligated to go on a date with you and no one is obligated to have a relationship with you either.

The only thing that comforts me to know is that these losers are most likely to never breed, ever.

Nobody funny is left on SA but plenty of ex-goons here parody Lowtax’s whacky humor style so well they could probably shit out something he or Logan would think it top notch stuff.

He be so assblasted if they published a Kiwi on the precious front page. If nothing else this post will ensure any content writers will now get Scientology gestapo security checks on top of no pay.

Gonna bet Logan is going to insert some painful try hard content under a pseudonym, but that will be easy to spot.

What you're getting at is a very real possibility. There's no way in hell that Asterios Kokkinos's constant stream of dogshit could have reached the front page if anyone had so much as glanced at one of his submissions before hitting the post button.

Even after Asterios started getting called out on how terrible his zero-effort less-than-listicles were, it took forever for the site to dispose of him. He got to run around the forums shilling some book and retaliating against anyone who made fun of him by digging through their post histories for proof that all of his detractors were evil internet trolls.

SA is fucking dead.

It's a dying website, it hasn't been updated consistently for years, you have to submit a writing sample/application to be considered, if you get approved you'll have to wait 4-8 weeks to even get paid (for an amount that hasn't been stated).

Who's actually going to do this?
