Why is it that as soon as diversity advocates hear a view that supports a disadvantaged group but also is an opinion that they perceive as bigoted, they blame it on some bepenised cis boogey man? The majority of prominent gender critical figures are female, and the same goes for the people (or at least many of them) supporting them. I have noticed this when it comes to topics like honor violence and islamic misogyny too; diversity advocates often try to twist the whole thing as if it's only something that sexist white cis male racists have come up with because they hate Muslims, despite the fact that many of the prominent debaters figuring in the debate are women and/or from Muslim majority regions.
