Hell, going with the “if you don’t meet the rigorous gender standards of the sexes as set by the Donna Reed show you’re trans” levels of stupidity I’ve seen on tumblr, they consider all women in the military trans. I mean they’re usually, at best, 10% of the total force, so they are not acting in a sterotypical feminine role, so trans.
Politics are a religion to these people.
I'm assuming this person didn't even play the game, found out there was a crossdressing segment, got all hot and bothered, and only got a basic understanding of the scenario from screenshots of it online. Link didn't crossdress because he wanted to, he is actually shown to be embarrassed about doing it and being caught. He crossdressed because he had to enter a city which exiles men on sight. Conversely, the guy who supplies him also didn't crossdress because he wanted to, he did so, in the most strictly and blatantly heterosexual reason possible, to spy on the women within said city. It is established by multiple men in that game that they're curious what the city is like, and how they fantasize about being a fly on a wall as a man in a city of giant, Amazonian, bikini clad desert women.
