Unless there's another incident I'm not familiar with. Black widow in age of ultron was sad because she was sterilized by her Russian black ops masters and couldn't have kids. You'd think it'd be okay to portray a woman's body being violated as a bad thing that she could feel bad about, but no clearly it just means Whedon and every other man involved with making the film believes that women are just baby makers.

Does that mean they aren't mad at her any more? Because I seem to recall her getting a ton of flack for the unspeakable crime of appearing in an ad for an Israeli business (Sodastream) instead of vocally supporting the slackjawed BDS morons. (In an ironic and hilarious twist, they were being boycotted for opening a plant in the West Bank, so they caved and moved their facility to Israel proper...which put 500 Palestinians out of work, because while they could be employed in the West Bank, most couldn't get work permits for Israel.)
 
The whole idea of that scene was the fact that the Soviets wanted someone 'perfect'. If she had children, she would put those children ahead of the USSR eventually. Which the Russians could not have. It was serve mother Russia 100%, in mind and body. It was also a test of 'morality'. How far was she willing to go for them? How patriotic was she?

Her body was violated as well as her mind. Metaphorically, it means that she can only bring about death, not bring about life. That's some pretty heavy shit to have on your mind when you are trying to save people. You're an instrument of death, that is your only purpose and try as you might to change, the scars and wounds of what was done will always be there.

Again, the scene is played out on Hawkeye's farm, where he has a wife and a child. Its an extra point of pain, because all of her sacrifice was for these people that treated her like a tool to be tossed away and any chance she has at love, at having a family was obliterated. No shit she wants kids and a family, she looks at the love in that house and realizes that she's only a living weapon. The choice of that, of what she realized she wanted, was stripped away. By her own hand due to people who manipulated and brainwashed her.

Its actually a really complicated, nuanced scene, which I was kind of surprised at it being in a blockbuster. And of course, since it was complicated, contextual and metaphorical, the social justice crowd couldn't fucking understand it and instead screeched autistically. It wasn't about her wanting to have kids, its about how any choice of it was forcibly removed from her and what it means. (It means that, until the Avengers and Shield, she would keep taking life until her own was taken).

This is why we need to keep SJWs as far away from entertainment, storytelling and any complicated medium. Because they are too fucking stupid to comprehend even the simplest points in a AAA blockbuster.
