So what IS "The Jewish Question?"

So Deep Thoughts hears about "the Jewish Question" a lot, but... much like the Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything, I don't think anyone knows what the question actually is.

Like, are we talking a question Jewish folk are likely to ask, or a question about Jewish folk?

So I've come up with a list of candidates for "the Jewish Question," but since I don't know whether its a question asked by Jews or about Jews, I came up with a mix of both:

1. "Did you remember to light the menorah?"

2. "There's not pork in that, is there?"

3. "So what problem can we blame Jews for today?"

4. "Do they even still care about that Hitler guy beyond his usefulness as propaganda? I mean, its been almost a century now."

5. "What do you get if you multiply six jews by nine jews?"

6. "Did you remember to charge interest?"

7. "So wait, if Jesus was a Jew, doesn't hating Jews mean hating Jesus?"

8. "So is there someone here who wasn't born because their ancestors died in the Holocaust?" (presumably asked by a Jewish schoolteacher during History class)

I'll stop now because I like the number eight.

It's not a literal specific question, more of a general nod to all of the problems that fall under the umbrella of things you're not allowed to say in polite company, or suggesting that maybe fixing such problems (even if you have to crack a few eggs) is of higher value than protecting the people benefiting from the problems

Or in other words, "The Jewish Question" is "What are we gonna do about all these Jews, am I right?"

How much Shekels is enough shekels, and how much shekels can be snorted safely?

Shekels is like Dakka. There is no such thing as 'nuff Shekels, it is like asking the highest number in infinity. A theological question.

The question is “is their behavior due to their nature, or is it the result of how they’re raised?” And the implied answer is that it doesn’t actually matter, because they’re a problem either way.

The Jewish Question Is, is eradicating Jews will solve the problems of society?

The answer to the Jewish question is America but I think the jews running the Israel racket really really don't like that

IIRC, it's basically europe's first go around at the immigration question.

In the middle ages, everyone expelled the jews. They all basically fled to poland-lithuania. After the great northern war, the russians started fucking with them, so they started migrating back west, which coincides with the enlightenment, where medieval jewish impediments were being considered for doing away with, since it's a backwards "feudal" thing. domestic strife ensues.

euro-schizos thought that in order to have a republican nationalist enlightened state or what the fuck ever, it had to be state-atheist secular like france or some shit, so the problem or "question" of the jews crops up, with 3 solutions in that context:

1) forced integration. you destroy the jewish religion and integrate the people into secularism.
2) zionism. the jews themselves made this one up. establish a jewish nation-state and expel all the jews to that nation-state. That's israel!
3) The Final solution... you know that one.

EDIT:

The 4th proposed solution, by marx is hilarious. More or less: communism. Basically marx thought that if you make shekels collective and shit like he was talking about, the material superstructure underpinning all of jewish culture evaporates. Basically, he thought if you got rid of ownership, judaism would vanish, since to him, "material judaism" was nothing but a religion fetishishing "hucksterism", which cannot exist in the state of communism according to his opinion. Talk about a self-loathing jew.

For a serious answer, basically it means "Jews cause a fuckload of problems in our society, so how do we stop them from causing those problems?" What the "answer" is varies on the person, but usually it's some form of expulsion from the nation so that they can no longer subvert the host nation.
