I think the Sneedchat chatrooms need improvement. The way it is now is that everyone piles into one room for all discussion which goes far too fast to have meaningful discussion. The way it works now is that if I would like to talk about anything I have to hope that someone who is also interested in that thing catches my message before it gets buried, which is very frustrating to me, being outside of the generalchat 24/7 clique. I've also tried using and hoping for discussion outside of generalchat, but that never seems to happen.
I suggest that the already almost entirely unused chatrooms be renamed based on interest in a similar fashion to imageboards usually are, keeping general and keno since they are in proper use.
IE if I want to have a quick chat about computers I could go to the technology room and T.Davis88 was sitting in the room and ready for discussion.
I know a suggested solution will be to use the forum instead, but I always liked the propsect of the chat room since it allows for realtime discussion that would otherwise require post rates that would make someone angry. I see it as supplemental.
I refuse to accept the furfag chatroom as the de-facto technology section, how degrading!
