I'd say that CDaDCB does fulfill the premise, as Satan demands that he make him smile, which Charlie does manage.
I would put Charlie Dies in the camp of wacky adventure more than the Smiling Friends doing their job. It's closer to the Red Jewel episode where Pim happens to "help" Spamtopia in terms of structure compared to Gwimbly or Mr. Frog which has the characters following around a down and out person.
Didn’t realize this person’s background. I like its videos but it takes the charm away that they’re a sexual deviant that gets off on people liking their fursona’d Seinfeld characters

Ahhh, good ol grey muzzle animation. Back when furries still had a fighting chance of saying, "it wasn't all about the sex." some just really liked cartoons and the funny animals. Considering this troon's got talent, I'm inclined to believe they are a troon before troon became a tool for Progressives.
Not trying to play ball or trying to run defense for a person I don't really know or care about. Sometimes people find dealing with certain issues easier to process through fantasy characters. The animation presented was just a simple "hero frame" animation exercise moving through expressions of a pre-recorded scene; ie practice. When I was still training to be an actor, I would re-enact scenes I like too to better understand from the perspective of the character and be a better performer.
Dolly-mations are more consistently funny than the actual show.
Then Guru Larry shows up and puts Super Monkey Ball on his bum.
