Smedley Butler wrote "War is a Racket" and I think he got it right. I don't think I can summarize his thoughts ore succinctly than he did. Do you think war is a racket, or is it really important to, say, send more troops to fucking Somalia for the good of the nation? I'm so tired. Obviously self-defense is different but I'm tired of the US stirring shit up just so they can sell more weapons. It's tiresome. I don't think it makes anyone feel safer.

You know when I was younger and much more CWC-naive, when I would hear about that griping about the (((military industrial complex))) I played it off. Now, I wait for doritos and mountain dew sponsors: "bombing x country 2023!" it'll end up being like a jew military version of wrestling.

The Business Plot to overthrow FDR in favor of a technocratic military dictatorship is a strange one. The investigation said they had good evidence for it, but they did not go any further.

It does not make sense for the business community to pick an anti-war Quaker with borderline socialistic ideas, and it also goes against the standard far-right narrative that FDR was the dictator serving the military-industrial complex.
