No, but he/she should know that a lot of people with skeletal deformities struggle in the love / romance department and they should know that they have the option to improve this aspect of life because it is important. It will unquestionably lead to a change in how people treat that person.
There are studies done which show that people who have had orthognathic surgery lead a higher quality of life afterwards and exhibit more markers of success .
Like it or not, people do treat others based on looks. Everyone is guilty of classifying people -- whether it be race, attractiveness, beliefs, etc.
