The ideal bone structure in terms of shape and angulation is subjective. So are individual features. But the preference in the positioning of the upper and lower jaw is universal. Function follows form. Correct position of the maxilla and mandible = bigger airway, better breathing, less chance of sleep apnea, fully erupted teeth, wide palate, less wear on teeth, etc. Maxilla/Mandible = over 60% of the face. That is all.
