Played the first game for a few dozen hours. Not bad, but I can't really get into it. Keep dying at the boss of Act 2. The one time I beat the game was with Ironclad years ago and I don't remember what I did. Guess I don't have the specific 'tism to get into this.
I keep having people tell me it's a skill issue... I dunno fam, game seems 100% reliant on RNG and unless you do nothing but skip turns and actively sabotage yourself, there's no real way a player can influence the game.

Still fun formula though. Floppy Knights did it better.

Really been loving the game, so glad they took out Doormaker in the beta branch, such a retarded boss.
Literally just lost to doormaker as I stumbled upon this thread. Ill be honest that I really suck at StS, but DM is usually just a run killer for most builds of mine. I hated the first iteration of it, and I hate this current version too.

I really need to swap to the beta, I keep forgetting that's a thing I can do.

The funniest bit about Anita Sarkeesian is that she was nothing more than the front man for a guy named Jonathan McIntosh who quietly fucked off and takes none of the ire she got even though it was all his fucking ideas.
