Hot fuckin' damn!

According to the Delaware County District Attorney, around 100 skeletons were allegedly found in the suspect's basement.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Police have arrested a Lancaster County man after an investigation led them to find human remains in the basement of his Ephrata home.

Speaking at a press conference Thursday afternoon, Delaware County District Attorney Tanner Rouse said that over 100 distinct remains were discovered in the basement of 34-year-old Jonathan Gerlach. Those remains were in various states of decay, ranging from skeletons older than 200 years, to months-old infants.

At this time, officials said there is no clear motive, but the remains are believed to be connected to dozens of grave robberies in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Yeadon, Pa — just outside of Philadelphia.

Rouse said that the remains were found in a variety of states, with some hanging and others pieced together. Several skulls were found displayed on a shelf, he said.

Yeadon Police Chief Henry J. Giammarco Jr. said that the case was "probably the most horrific thing" he had seen over his career in law enforcement.

Yeadon Mayor Rohan Hepkins said that the investigation began when he was notified by members of the Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery group of mausoleum break-ins. Hepkins contacted police, who began patrols in the area.

The investigation led police to identify Gerlach as a suspect, and he was arrested on Jan. 6 as he exited the cemetery. In court documents, police said that Gerlach was in possession of a burlap bag that contained remains including the mummified remains of two small children, three skulls and several other assorted bones.

Police executed a search warrant at Gerlach's residence in Ephrata on Wednesday. During the search, police found over 100 human skulls, two decomposing human torsos and various other remains.

According to court documents, Gerlach faces 574 charges including burglary, abuse of corpse and criminal trespassing. He remains in Delaware County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 20.

There's a short of it too, at least until YT notices.
How someone can live like this and not think they are unwell is baffling. Shit is genuinely unnerving and I'm amazed no one called the local cops about weird smells and shit. He was selling some of these, but a lot of them look set up for display like they were his own personal collection.

Also hearing all these true crime people mispronounce Ephrata is pissing me off.
