It’s stuff like all of yeetbixed’s material, that amazes me that anyone would share that trash. The head canons, fine, plenty of people have them, most call them opinions or wishes, unless we are talking (usually) rabid-fandomer’s. Gotta use the “in” buzzwords. Then, to produce this type of material, & put it out into the world & expect applause, is such a foreign phenomenon imo.
Make whatever you want, fan fiction or visual art, whatever you want, publish it on ffn or ao3 or wherever else too (all the usual art sites,) but the weird meme pic’s that yeetbixed edits about criticism, then “proudly” (as yeetbixed obviously isn’t proud) proclaims “Let me project!” is just delusional. Point is, it amazes me that such a trove of (likely mostly younger people) but still, the numbers of which, share these crappy, trashy, anime fantasies, & call them “head canon projections” as some get out of bad art jail free, card, it’s astounding. (Using “astounding” & “amazing” to profess my disbelief & disdain, if it wasn’t clear.)

Late reply, but on the topic of "black washing", I've seen some people who considered the Water Tribe from Avatar: TLA franchise as being coded "black" because of their dark skin. Never mind the fact that "blackness" does not exist the Avatar universe and IIRC, the bending tribes are all inspired by East Asian or Native American (Inuit) cultures. What I'm guessing, is that whenever "blackness" doesn't exist in a culture or a media franchise, etc, people just selfishly insert it because "diversity" or "We wuz kings" and whatever bs.
I remembered someone on either Twitter or Tumblr or one of those sites sperging out because some people headcannoned Korra as a "black kween".
And on the topic of anime characters and blackwashing, I find it weird that some Western fans/SJWs will say that all those anime characters with blonde or red hair, light/pinkish skin tones and blue eyes are not "white people", they're just Japanese/East Asian people with different hair colours to tell them apart. But the moment a dark skinned anime character shows up, these hypocrites start saying that they must be "black" or "coded black". Just look at Yoruichi Shihouin. I always assumed that she was a dark skinned Japanese/East Asian person, but I've seen people state that she is a "black woman".
But as I said, these same people will never say that a character like Sailor Moon is "white", despite her blonde hair, blue eyes and light skin tone.
