I actually like the first one, just not as an illustration of Hatsune Miku. The stylization is really cool, and the lines give me major "Oh The Places You'll Go" vibes. Now if the art wasn't being used for cringe....

I feel the need to respond to this post specifically because I’ve seen this happen in real time and it is bad. People that used to be worshipped in these circles as progressive figure heads were suddenly being torn down as bigoted and hateful individuals. It was weird seeing creators who made tumblr favorites being paraded like they were David Duke.
It got to the point articles on Medium were made.

I'm in a fandom (which doesn't seem to have been taken over by sjws, thankfully) where the characters are described by the creator as "coworkers, friends and brothers" and god, imagine anti-shippers trying to restrict the fans from shipping those characters.

yeah, the example i specifically mentioned there is kaeya and diluc from genshin impact
some fans there went so overboard with anti-shipping those two that they just plugged their ears and went lalala when even the official account supports fanwork of the ship. super based and made me like the game, for them to not kneel down to retards like that
ex-fuckin-actly. yet somehow these same morons go fiction == reality!!!! as if fictional characters matter more than real breathing humans. they equate crying over a character death and getting emotional over movies and games to real life situations, somehow, and it's really miserable either way
i saw a twitter post the other day that went like "this pro-shipper did something bad!" "oh, what'd they do? did they ship real people?" "worse, they ship these fictional characters that are minors" or some shit like that as if said characters had some kinda rights that humans don't that makes it worse
but i digress, they can echo chamber and get their two-day clout all they want, i'll stick to my beliefs about this and we can only hope they'll grow out of theirs
