Why can't these people just enjoy a piece of fiction without farting their social politics all over it. It's like for them it's not enough that the movie's gay. Noooo, they have to turn the two leads into a pair of insane women that chop their tits off and commit assault.
It must be stressful as hell to go through life like this, filtering every single piece of media you consume through social politics. Are they incapable of just... watching something, enjoying it, and moving on? Why does everything they watch have to help prove some point they're trying to make?
Also, excuse my autism, but the whole concept of "punch nazis/facists/people who disagree with me" flies directly in the face of the theme of this movie. Not to spoil, but on multiple occasions Galo (the dude with blue hair) stops the smaller guy (Lio) from killing the main villain. The main villain literally conspires to commit genocide, but Galo still spares him. Y'know, because killing people is wrong, and killing someone because they want to kill other people is hypocritical.
It's the same shit Tumblrinas did with Steven Universe. Steven literally forgives and redeems Lesbian Space Hitler, but Tumblr thinks that because there are gay characters, it's an excellent platform for them to spew all of their "punch Nazis!11!!" and "kill TERFs!!1!" nonsense. They're so focused on their political agenda that they miss the whole point of the shows they watch.
