And what's up with people drawing the blackwashed characters as trashy as they can? I thought they redrew them 'cause "there are black Asians" and yeah, sure there are but the ton of gold, silver accessories, big loop earrings and bracelets remind me of a stereotypical black women.

Ya know I've noticed they always take the hero like character's and turn them into fucking losers or troons just like them these hero character's are always helping the police even being dub as honorary officer's sometimes and yet draw them saying things like "fuck cops" or "blue lives don't matter" it just annoys me and I bet you that if they were in trouble then they call the cops

They like the idea of a likeable character sharing their own traits. That's why by adding their traits on a fairly normal character they end up making it unlikable because all they do is slapping loser traits onto the likeable character to make them feel better about their situation. I mean "look this cool character is also a loser like me therefore being a total loser isn't so bad ! it's empowering and cool !" But the thing that they forget is that the character they created isn't the actual character, therefore their excuse of "cool loser" doesn't work. (especially since the end result is unlikeable characters)
This is just a very lazy way of dealing with their lack of self esteem. Instead of actually trying to improve as a person and change for the better (which takes effort) they just go to the effortless road where all you have to do to feel better is to put your awful traits onto cool characters and think that since the character was cool already adding those bad traits would just make it unique and more relatable. In the end all it does it just creating horrid (and sometimes contradicting) results.

I really, really fucking hate this new trend of racebending Ace Attorney characters, and Tumblr's new push to make characters like Klavier less attractive, even though that's literally the entire point of his character, being a rockband fuckboy who may or may not be a douchebag deep down.
Seriously what the fuck, the last time I looked at the AA fandom, it was a jumbled mess of fujos fighting over which attorney is fucking which prosecutor, but now it's filled with shit like this.
Do you really need to do this to established (Japanese) characters so you can feel better about your identity?
Imma just stick with the japanese side, far, far into the depths of pixiv and jap twitter. At least they won't add 350+ pounds + FTM surgery scars on Apollo's chest.
Also, isn't it kinda racist to draw black(washed) characters as ugly fucking overweight swamp creatures with goblin facial features? Kinda feels like that, you know, contradicts the point you're trying to make?
