From what I’ve seen, the two big factors that play into it are who their favorite characters are and the type/number of buzzword labels in their profile summary.

Their favorite character or the one they draw the most is typically the one who will either get a bunch of labels or a very specific set of id labels to craft them more into a self-insert/yaoi-yuri bait/fetish fuel, the characters Tumblrinas romantically pair said favorite character with are given the “complimentary” preferences, if their favorite characters/ships are male then all the female characters (love interests especially) are guaranteed to be lesbians or occasionally asexual, and then the further they get from their core favorites the more random/token the labels get. And if the characters they draw the most are pale/white, then the chances of them making the characters 10 shades darker out of fear of being called racist increases exponentially.

Why the fuck does he/she/fi/fa/foom need to look their character? That's a very problematic idea based on white supremacist ideas, shitlord.
Now, seriously, these people might have some autism or some shit on their minds because they cannot empathize with a character with different race, sex, sexuality or whatever, that's why they create these ugly aberrations, they are ugly and bitter themselves, and when they see a well designed character who is not the same as them, they make these ''things''. And the fact that to them beauty is haram, you have these creations. They make art on the idea that they should indoctrinate people, not to be beautiful, if they have to make Mcree a transexual hideous mulatto to further their cause, they will do it.
And this Junkrat could be worse tho. At least is not an autistic maverickgender hambeast with vitiligo.
