The one on the viewer's left: Is that supposed to be a bullet hole between the eyes?

No wonder they're drawn as being vaguely unhappy.

This person has potential to improve their art. They should use a higher stabilization for whatever they do line art with. In terms of framing they should avoid the head on perspective or if they use it, don't draw all the characters facing forward. It's stiff and unnatural. They could also try using different line weights to make it feel less stiff.
Besides the guy on the couch the guy behind him looks okay. They tried having him emote while talking and he's drawn at a 3/4th's view instead of head on.

It's important to note that the attitude many of these fanartists have, especially in the BNHA and DR fandoms where these godawful redesigns thrive, is "the creator is racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic so the character is MINE now and free to interpret any way I please"
