Is this serious? Because it looks like a parody. At first i thought it's a self insert of the author and their friend or something

Evening, Kiwis. I've been lurking the Farms and browsing threads that caught my interest while deciding if I should sign up or not (which I obviously did, ultimately).
Anyway, I'm here with a contribution of my own. Gazing upon the atrocities that this thread bears, I've come to grace said thread with some... Art. The person in question isn't really an SJW, but their artstyle is kinda... Tumblry? Like there's Tumblr nose and spots on the elbows? And something about it is really disturbing.
Maybe it's the eyes?
Forgot to mention but, christ. Those hands.
Being bad at art is not equivalent to being a social justice warrior. This is the artist's tumblr ( caroleighlayne ) to thumb through if you're really so convinced they're such an SJW. You won't find anything.

What I want to know is how they were able to edit the clothing of the CGI characters. It genuinely looks like it actually belongs in the picture.I maintain that this girl's racebending edits of Disney princesses is some of the most well-done racebending I've ever seen.

It's well done, the girls aren't caricatures, they haven't been made butt-ugly, and they actually show the culture of the race they've been bended into via their clothing. Also, they didn't exempt the nonwhite princesses from it. I wish tumblr did more of this type of "bending" instead of the crap they usually put out.![]()

Have any of these people ever actually gotten in legal trouble for editing others’ media and acting like they own it?What I want to know is how they were able to edit the clothing of the CGI characters. It genuinely looks like it actually belongs in the picture.
I don't think they're acting like they own it. They're pretty upfront about their edits being just that.Have any of these people ever actually gotten in legal trouble for editing others’ media and acting like they own it?
I feel like there are people that have done that, though. If they have, have any of them ever faced repercussions?I don't think they're acting like they own it. They're pretty upfront about their edits being just that.
I'm sure a few cease and desists have been issued in cases where they are making money off of merch with the edits but that's about it.I feel like there are people that have done that, though. If they have, have any of them ever faced repercussions?
But I digress.

Simple answer, they're copycats. Just like everything else they do, they pretend their art is progressive, transgressive, bold, but everything they do is derivative, either of each other or people who came before them. They can't even make OCs without being clearly ""inspired"" by some popular character from a trendy property like Overwatch or Danganronpa. Why are all trans Midoriyas always drawn in literally the same flexing pose?

Gives me, "just traveled to Brazil to get cheap plastic surgery in a back alley" vibes.

That picture is funny as hell it is like she is a special needs person who got into her stoner brother's edibles stash. She's high as fuck. He has algae growing out of his head. They fight crime.
