I can't recognize these characters at all. Are they DnD characters or...?
No, those are the utterly bastardized versions of the characters from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Merry & Pippin look wrong, Legolas looks like a weird Native American stereotype, and Sam has Elephantiasis.

EDIT: Also, this...

On the first two and the last one I can barely see their facial features

The fact that your drawing was able to perfectly incorporate everything wrong with #pride is just incredible. Great job!

Nah fam, that number's too problematic.
We should call it Rule #999
Since it's all even so the Tumblrites won't get mad.

Why not Rule#666 gotta have the forced edge in there somewhere!

The more I see Tumblr's illogical, unfathomable, searing fucking hatred of attractive female characters, the more I'm convinced that the reason they hate them so much is because they have nothing they can offer over a 2D woman. The fact that you spend all your waking hours shrieking about how problematic a given character is and uglifying the shit out of them tells me infinitely more about the person doing it than about any issue the character they're trying to portray might have.

If someone is resentful of their own unattractiveness (true or not), glorifying ugliness simply isn’t going to make themselves more desirable.
If you have eyes, you are therefore qualified to be a proper judge of attractiveness, regardless of how many people try to tell you that 300 pound women are the hottest and most empowering shit ever.

He made Widowmaker look like a Tim Burton drawing, holy shit. I like some of this guy's edit work, he makes neat skin concepts, but this is just bad. His whole 'they should thank me for FIXING their characters' attitude about it makes it even worse.

I'm more concerned about how they edited Brigitte, especially since that doesn't even remotely look like any concept art that's been made of her. Hell, she doesn't even look like she resembles her parents.

Too bad this this Samus' self-destructive habits (especially at her age) would definately be catching up to her by now.
I don't know shit about Samus, but I actually kind of like this concept. I mean this interpretation sounds pretty interesting and the illustration especially makes this look like a character with a cool personality that I would honestly like to watch go on space adventures. The concept and picture kind of reminds me of Gertrude from the "I hate Fairlyland" comic vibe but older and in space. The most SJW thing about it is turning a pretty non-gay character gay and less attractive, but I think the qualities matches the interpretation of the character as a butch, gives-zero-fucks, hard ass that goes through tough shit in the rough and tough of outer space. The illustration does the idea justice more than the text.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this interpretation of the character seems a lot more well thought out and flows together better than most SJW interpretations of a character (in which they ascribe tumblr meme personalities and give fake sexualities/genders to characters that make no sense) and that I can't bring myself to hate it as much especially to a character whose established looks, backstory, and or personality isn't that well known. It's okay to ascribe possibly "SJW qualities" onto a character if they make sense to the story, setting, and the character, especially if he/she doesn't have a particularly detailed canon.

Unless Samus does have a well established lore I don't know about that this idea heavily contradicts and I'm totally wrong, the Op should just make their own OC.

BTW, I think the concept is cool, but I don't like the "I know better than those stupid Nintendo fucks how to make a character, how dare you make a female character attractive" attitude in the initial tweet. What a rude bitch.

She was raised by alien bird people after her parents died from an attack by pirates led by a space dragon destroyed her home colony. A manga more or less gave the character backstory.

Tumblr is full of sjw lord of the rings art
Never forget the original or one of the oldest racebends in which everyone was given dark skin by one Tumblr artist.

I was talking about this today with a friend. The idea that the people on Tumblr who get a lot of attention on their art/posts, and then whenever they fail to get the same amount for other art, use it as a reflection of their own self-worth. It’s a particularly nasty cycle of, in my opinion, addiction, and really fucks with a person’s ability to have a healthy idea of self-worth. That being said, there’s usually some other issues present that contribute, but I still think it’s overall something that can affect anyone who lets e-fame on Tumblr (and to some extent, twitter too) get to their head.
Well I'd argue it's kind of hard to measure how much of this attitude is an actual reflection of low or warped self worth, and how much is simply presenting low self-worth as a ploy by artists to get what they want since both types seem to be in a high supply on Tumblr.

Though in terms of the attention gap, I do also wonder if it's because Tumblr's structure means it kinda cuts out two big components when it comes to art promotion: views and comments. The general hierarchy when it comes to feedback on the internet has always been Views>Likes>Comments>Shares, which even if you weren't getting a whole lot of direct feedback, you could still measure to what level your artwork was being received compared to your peers based on traffic and the responses you did get. But with Tumblr, unless you have some sort of stat counter installed (which even then is likely useless considering few users ever leave the dashboard) you have no idea how many people are seeing your posts - if they even see them at all - and the only ways for users to leave feedback are to either A) leave a comment as a reply, which users only do when they don't want anyone to actually see or reply to their response or B) reblog it with their feedback either as text or in the tags - the former rarely done because artists on Tumblr get pissy about it for some reason, and the latter means the artist won't see it unless they click on the reblog directly.

It's probably extremely common that artists on Tumblr have no clear point of reference as to how often their work is being seen, and when something they made blows up there might not even see a clear pattern as to why or how. Which could also maybe explain the Ouroboros of Awful when it comes to Tumblr artists endlessly copying each other.
