The modern queer movement is a very postmodernist movement that has been freed from the shackles of reality. All that exists is a hyperreality of symbols with no bearing on anything material. This group is so removed from the realities of their own existence: no longer unified by their shared aberrant attractions formalized in theory and practice, but instead through the vapid workings of fandom. Their illness is not because of their queerness, but as a symptom of having a short history and adopting a philosophy that is hostile to any attempt at racination.
