Why does Tumblr have an obsession with vitiligo?

Probably also a lot of 80's culture coming back to the mainstream (mostly through stranger things ugh) With how many reboots keep coming out more and more artists will do this, and the dialing back on anything remotely offensive in the reboots can't help either. I don't think there will be a "please don't tell me your a fag! I can handle anything else, just not a fag." line if they remake the Teen Wolf movie from 1985. The artists consuming the media now are seeing normal society through their perverted lens where someone can once in a blue moon be straight or cis but never both

Male friends in a movie are now definitely gay, even if they have canonical girlfriends. Same with women who act like women (aka more physically comfortable with female friends, hugging as a greeting, sharing drinks, sometimes holding hand platonically) they're definitely lesbians, they smiled at eachother! There's no other explanation. And who could forget the AIDS crisis! So many possibilities to reflect that angst in the characters!

I won't be surprised to see horrible interpretations of Top Gun characters, (Maverick is definitely still grieving from loosing his gay lover in the last movie, Maverick is actually Middle Eastern now, his gf is actually a trans autistic lesbian, etc)

On one hand, I don’t see them taking too much interest in Top Gun (even if that’d make for godawful possibilities, like shipping Maverick and Iceman), but considering how they scream that LotR characters are gay for each other, well…
 
 
Did they have to touch The Addams Family? Other than teaching your that it's ok to be different (that's the lesson I got as a kid from the live action movies), why does it appeal so much to these SJW folks? You'd think those old black and white shows would be too problematic for them.

My two guesses:
  • The general gothic aesthetic of the franchise

  • Morticia and Gomez's relationship (the other day, I saw a tweet claiming that they're one of the very few "good cishet" couples in fiction or something like that.)

This one pisses me off inmensely because it used the Fallen Angel painting as a reference and i cannot unsee it. I know it's just used as reference for whatever tranny genderblob that is, but it gets me a bit mad. Other than this one, the jeff the killer one looks absolutely horrendous and autistic, along with the "Batman villains top surgery scars". Dunno why they would want to make a serial deranged murderer into a tranny, but i guess that for these people any sort of representation is good representation.

I gotta hand it to you, you found a hoard of proper trash and you probably need some rest after it.

So you may already be aware, but there has been a huge discourse on twitter about a new guilty gear strive character called bridget. So, the character has a very feminine appearance but is actually male. In the past games, bridget has been classified as a male. But in strive, it is said that bridget is now a trans woman. But from what I heard, bridget accepts accepts himself as female ONLY in the bad ending( I dont know a lot about guilty gear, so please correct me if im wrong). But anyway, on twitter, there is a huge discource where people are arguing about the gender of the character and calling each other transphobes if you dont agree with their view. Just another typical day on twitter. You can see for yourself if you want to.

The entire reason Bridget is presented as feminine is because his parents raised him like that. It was the only way he was going to make it out alive in his crazy superstitious town. Twins of the same sex were seen as a bad omen. He then becomes a bounty hunter to disprove all of that. Why the hell are they just throwing away years of character exposition by making him trans? The appeal of his character has just been tossed out the window!

Also, the impaled person will indeed feel better if they lose weight, because obesity interferes with wound healing, believe it or not. And also, obesity will also bring risks with surgery and anesthesia. So, if the impaled person loses weight, they will feel better, as the surgery to remove whatever is impaling them is more likely to be successful and the wound will heal better.

And Frye looks pretty feminine if you ask me,
People are already going off that they are canocally nonbinary and that Shiver is transmacs.
