I get an impression that wouldn't make it into a Current Year Civ game.[screencap]
Reminds me, I have a buddy who worked on the game. 2K gave the entire team keys today, but fucked up and accidentally gave out beta keys instead. Executives put out an apology to the employees earlier and told them they would revoke the beta keys and give them retail ones instead, then gave the staff basic copies, and not collectors editions.
Do you feel balanced yet, Civ bros? The map generator for this one is creating some...... interestingly shaped continents in this one.

It's crazy that they make it that easy for us to make fun of themThis is the first time ever I think the western dev team smells worse than the pajeets in the back.

Has anyone on that Civ 7 dev team worked on any earlier Civ vidyas?
i needed the oil and aluminum for future plans. he had to go, he was in the way.
I can smell them through my monitorThis is the first time ever I think the western dev team smells worse than the pajeets in the back.

Same. Still playing 4 and 5 from time to time. Civ 4 more. I actually like stacks of doom. At least in singleplayer.while the devs are crying that people don't like their slop, I'm over here playing civ 5 with mods again.
funny meme civ mods are so fun to play with, right now I'm Isabelle and my next door neighbors are vinesauce and Dr Evil. pepe was a neighbor, but i needed the oil and aluminum for future plans. he had to go, he was in the way.
It's a microcosm of everything that goes wrong these days. This is the first time ever I think the western dev team smells worse than the pajeets in the back.

VII might be the first civ to just be straight up unsalvageable. It's just so utterly unfun. Since IV, every release has really been a watered down version of the previous game pending future updates. V was iffy and burdened by introducing a lot of new systems (hexagons) but eventually became a contender for the best in the series. Even VI became... playable, if still not as polished as V.
Meanwhile VII changes so much of what people like about civ that I legitimately do not know if any amount of updates can fix it. They straight up broke the core of the game. Sid Meier actually had a philosophy of '33s' for sequels, where he believed 33% of the game should keep established features, 33% should improve past features, and 33% should be new features entirely.
This feels more like 10%/0%/40%, and the other 50% is being saved for overpriced DLC.
