Shows you DO want to come back - I bet there's at least one.

It's no secret the entertainment industry has a fixation on reboots, revivals, and all that stuff. More often than not, these are either unwarranted, worse than the old product, underwhelming, or some combination of the above.
But sometimes there's a show that could have done more with its concept, needed to finish a storyline, or otherwise ended too soon.
So, assuming the best case scenario, what would you want to see come back?
For me, Lodge 49 on AMC would be my main pick. It was an interesting dramedy about a beach bum joining a failing branch of a lodge. It stumbled to two seasons, then got killed off. Unfortunately that left it on a sort-of cliffhanger, and basically every revival attempt has crumbled.

My choices are for shows that probably will never come back. The Young Ones would be number one but Rik Mayall died and the show wouldn't be the same without him. Freaks and Geeks would be the other but that just didn't make it for a million reasons and its way too late to bring it back.

I've heard they might reboot King of the Hill which is fucking rad and I hope they don't ruin it. I'll gladly take that.

Cutting Rome was a travesty. I believe they had at least 5 seasons planned out. From Caesar's march on Rome to his assassination, to Octavian's rise, Ptolemaic Egypt's fall, and the final campaigns in Germania near the end of Augustus' life. HBO thought it cost too much, then approved GoT.

I wish they would make a real conclusion to Reboot. That cliffhanger cancellation ending has driven me nuts since I was a kid. Then again, what with current year bullshit and such, maybe it's best left dead.

I would love to see a third season of Jericho, but I don't think the momentum is there anymore.

More Twin Peaks would be great but it sounds like that may happen once David Lynch gets off his contact high.

King of the Hill would be a great revival given its the most positive and relatable i've ever seen a conservative Texas family, which I think would strike a much needed nerve.

I wish Netflix didn't cancel Glow, and FX didn't axe Louie.

I really wish they would bring back shows like Seinfeld but with new characters. My favorite character, Jerry, was a Jew, and not to be politically correct but he was a fag! He would say and do some really funny stuff, but there was one thing I always had a problem with; in the final scene of the show there would be a montage of the characters throughout the series, and everyone would be standing there saying, "Seinfeld, you really were awesome! Thanks for everything! It's been real." And I thought, "What kind of weird ass faggot are you? You're f*cked!"

A month or so ago I would have said more Mike Tyson Mysteries. But that show would be an absolute trainwreck without Norm.

Ventrue Bros
Is thankfully getting an ending in the form of a movie, but rather see the creators given 2 more seasons to wrap things up.

Ash vs the Evil Dead
Another one cancelled, the way the show ended wasn't a bad way to end it all but could have done with another season

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance
Love the movie and the first season. Seems it did well but Netflix doesn't care and cancelled it. With this one, really only wanted one more season on the Age of Resistance, and if they did more see them tackle different eras and stories with the world.

Daredevil
One of the MCU if you could call it that, which I enjoyed. was clearly was more steam left in the show. Netflix likely killed it due to Disney+

Tales from the Crypt:
Always enjoyed this one, a reboot, if they kept the same set-up with the Cryptkeeper, could be great.

Mindhunter
Seems Fitcher was burnt out on the show, so done with it for now, while he and Netflix said it could come back I doubt it. Wish they would just do another season or even a special to get it some kind of ending, and if they want to do more later after that great but if not, well at least it kind of does work for a full show.

Megas XLR. I don't remember the show ever having a decent ending and it actually pulled off jokes about mecha without all the cringy shit modern writers do (ie, LOL IM JAPAWESE).
The IRS will never make the new season (:_( (jokes because it was a tax write off)
I want a continuation of Megas, clone high (apparently coming back in 2022), metalocalypse and venture bros (both getting a ending via movie)

People of Earth: A TBS comedy/drama about a focus group for people who have been abducted by aliens. It ended on a cliffhanger after two seasons, with the new Big Bad alien abducting the focus group and dumping his subordinates on Earth. Oh, and the main character is still dead.

I want to say a second season of Asobi Asobase, but apparently there were 2 specials and an OVA, so I'll wish for Crunchyroll to get their hands on those.
