Shows that have overstayed their welcome - Why won't they end?

This thread covers any show that is still going when it seems obvious the writers have ran out of ideas and/or networks won't end these shows because they still bring in money.

Two shows I can think off the top of my head are The Simpsons and SpongeBob SquarePants.

*Edit* Another one I'll add is Red vs. Blue.

Survivor and Dancing with the Stars, but they're so cheap they'll probably still be around in 2030.
 
Hell's Kitchen and most Gordon Ramsay shows. None of them bring anything new to the table anymore and the past few seasons of HK haven't brought in anyone you can really get attached to, in my opinion. The F Word was fun back when it aired. Or ludicrous episodes of (US) Kitchen Nightmares/Hotel Hell like Amy's Baking Company.

I love Gordon but damn, dude, change up the format on something.
