I don't believe women should have the right to vote - no man should have the right either. It should be an earned privilege based on how much you've contributed to society and how much you can provide for it. Knowledge of the political system is a must and how different parties platforms as well as their histories stacked up to their promises should be quizzed as well. Yet another issue forms in that who would be responsible for proctoring these examinations - and it becomes a cyclical issue that leads to the same inevitable result we have today.

On a statistical level, men filter information through objectivity more than women since women are more likely to just use a consensus filter for information, which makes them vote with no consequences in mind a.k.a women just vote for what they are told to vote by others (in modern times it's media).

Giving women the right to vote was what started the downfall of western civilization, I would say that's as good of a reason as any.
On a more broad and relevant level, guess who voted troons and illegal migrants/refugees into the west, usually based solely on their feelings? There is a reason we see those "14 photos that will make you say fuck having borders and shit" articles.

All citizens who have registered for the selective service should be allowed to vote. Both sexes should be allowed to opt in or out, but if you're not willing to fight and die for it, you shouldn't have a say in how it is run.

This sounds reasonable, but in practice having women serve in combat roles even makes the men perform worse (sex, drama, and prioritizing protecting women over mission goals).

On top of that, women would get pregnant or have other ways of getting out of life risking situations at considerable numbers, also fucking with unit cohesion that they were trained in, but are now missing from.

So in the end your reasonable sounding compromise for equality, would be giving a privilege to women that they wouldn't earn when the chips are down. On the plus side it prevents coward men from voting.
