It's a number's game.

OP is just making a rational decision by valuing his time. If you just want to fuck, it's going to take some efforts, you're going to have to text back and forth, get to know each other, maybe even spend time together. And there is no guarantee.

Assuming you spend 4 hours finding the right candidate, then 8 hours talking with her, 4 hours for a first date, then 4 hours to get to the sex on the second date. You now have spent 20 hours on your booty call. I am discounting customer service and operational expenses.

Assuming that you make $20 an hour, that's already $400, and you have no guarantee of success.

OP is just a simple businessman making business decisions.

3 km is literally less than 2 miles. At that point, I'd spring for a ride just so you show up to your date's place looking present- oh you're just coming over to fuck. lol lmao. It's not a matter of "should" at that point, it's a matter of "will it be worth the trip?" That is a question only you can answer. lol it's a hooker. No. Locking in, no.
