Sounds like you've caught the flu, taking a shower won't hurt anything just don't take a crazy hot one. If you are experiencing dizziness though it will be better to just lie down and rest and drink plenty of fluids.

I've swallowed 4 PanAdol's to treat the fever, it worked well for the rest of my body but my brain is still boiling hot blood.

A cold wash rag on the forehead or an ice pack or anything cold and squishy to help keep your temperature down is definitely needed.

Thanks, i'll try that!

Btw, is there really any way to avoid being infected by a flu? I really don't want this experience to occur ever again.

Avoiding all human interaction 100% of the time is about the only way and even then that shit will sneak up on you. On the bright side once this passes you'll be immune to this strain of the virus!

If you don't feel dizzy or weak, sitting in the tub helps me when I'm sick. Drinking citrus juice is good, and little stuff like fresh sheets and clean clothes when you've been sweating go a long way in making you less miserable.

Taking a shower might actually help you feel better. The steam coming from a shower can help clear out your sinuses. Just getting that layer of gunk off your body can go a long way towards making you feel better.

Work, school, grocery shopping ect... It all puts you in the vicinity of people who are infected. Especially little kids that don't understand that they need to cover their nose and mouth when they sneeze and cough. If your on the bus or in a car with a sick person it's like a virus recycling plant. Just wash your hands and hope that everyone else does too.

My grandmother always said that if you went outside with Vicks Vaporub on you you'd get pneumonia. Of course according to her just about everything gave you pneumonia. My mom said she and my uncles would rub it on their faces and go outside hoping they'd get sick so they could stay home from school. It never worked.

I never used the stuff myself.

Meh, I would shower and just try to take easy the week and rest well. The flu is annoying.

The variation of Paracetamol I normally use has some caffeine (30 mg) by tablet, which might help the brain to not feel like completely trash. So maybe have a small cup of coffee? :\
