I feel it’s not that detrimental but it’s true I felt the same way about Facebook and other social media before giving that up and realizing how addictive and damaging that can be so maybe like you say it is worth trying not to watch porn and seeing how that makes one feel.

One thing about porn I did forget to mention which is disturbing is if you are in a relationship whether you think about your partner or porn during sex. That is a good question for porn watchers to ask themselves because our behaviours effect the way our brain works with pleasure and reward systems.

Edit: it must be bad for young viewers I’d almost leave some dirty magazines around the house on purpose to deter internet use. The way our internet habits today are being imparted on the youth with complete abandon is highly disturbing. And we act as though we are capable of adapting to something we are not hard wired for with our monkey brains. Social media was actually killing my attention span and ability to absorb important information in detail since it is like a pacifier of endless distractions and trivialities which can inhibit your desire to pursue a more meaningful existence.
