Depends on what your dreams are, but usually there should be a path you haven't thought of yet. My dream is to live in a cottage in a forest. Right now that's not possible, but I'm in the process of changing career paths to a more flexible one where I can work in any city and most towns. As i get established I can get work closer and closer to my chosen designation, networking for better jobs as i go, then get a job where I can work remote and be at my cottage. The as I build up my side hustles such as selling stuff at the farmers market and reducing my expenses as much as possible, I could transition to just hobby farming

Don't forget that every dream has an inverse solution that satisfies the desire behind the dream. "I wish I was dead (I wish I felt alive)" "I wish I had a more reliable car (I wish I didn't have to drive)"
There may be an inverse solution you're not considering that will still make you happy.
