It has become alarmingly obvious to anyone paying attention that trying to fight this type of left-wing faggotry "fascism" through common sense arguments and center-right conservative politics is completely ineffective. I've started to think that nobody actually believes in free speech. It's always something the non-dominant (loser) ideology uses in the US as a political tool for defense. Back when the US government was purging communists, the left was huge on free speech and talking about "banned books." It got so ingrained in their culture that they still talk about banned books even now, constantly, even though they're in completely in charge of banning curating and selling books. After the US right lost on every social issue and made every concession to stay in power, and still was completely weakened, they suddenly realized purging political dissents was bad. We should have free speech and the government should stop censoring us and maybe even, god forbid, we regulate huge private corporations.

You'll probably agree that the US right has a lot of momentum now, and you can already see how quickly they're throwing away the principle of free speech. There is no political party that consistently shows free speech as a principle whether they're winning or losing. Maybe libertarians (winning? lol? lomao?), but they'd allow private companies to do the same exact thing as long as it's not the government.

While libertarianism would prevent the government from jailing you for voicing your concerns, it wouldn't solve the inherent problem of what people are getting jailed for speaking against in the first place. Having free speech to criticize leftist politics isn't gonna unrape your sister when she gets cornered by a pack of Afghans. And a small, powerless government wouldn't be able to get rid of these issues, unless the people start forming mobs and taking the law into their own hands.

People getting jailed for memes is just the most ridiculous part of this lunacy, people are getting jailed for any type of complaining about migrants, fags, trannies etc.

Libertarianism and government are fundamentally incompatible
A consistent libertarian must be an anarchist (in the sense that there are no rulers - not "no rules")

Consider the right to bear arms, for instance

The first paragraph of our constitution is not a crystal-clear statement like "The freedom of speech shall not be infringed." It's "The dignity of a human being is untouchable!" That's not even a real law. That's like saying "the sky is never not blue!".

And it's all your fault.
