Marten's frazzled, strained expression as he desperately convinces himself - a man who has been shown to be nothing but straight for 2000 strips - that he wants to spend the night groping at this crossdresser's hormone-addled dick slays me every time. Especially because Jeff Jacks meant him to be sincere. But all I see is that chronic thirst rotted Marten's brain. And it's unintentionally hilarious.

He does look rather tired in that last panel, doesn’t he? I used to like Questionable Content, and I’m sure that avoiding the trans character is the reason so much of the strip is now about robots. At least Faye doesn’t look butch anymore, small victories and all that.
