it's just seeing her constantly in my circles, people talking about her despite me blocking her posts.

I feel the same way about Anthony Cumia. No matter how many of his channels I block on youtube, he seems to have even more that keep popping up in my recommended list. It makes zero sense to me, I have never watched any of his videos, but they keep getting pushed on my algorithm.
