Unironically using "privilege". "Muh Wahmen" arguments.

I have to say, I like GoT because it doesn't sugarcoat the world's brutality. The good guys do not always win.

If Justice is, "to each, their due", the question becomes, who decides who is due what?

I remember the movie "King Ralph", starring John Goodman. One quote stuck with me from the butler/mentory type guy: "Rulership is a job for Gods, unfortunately we must make due with men."

If anything, this exchange has demonstrated that, if anything, the Shanes of this world cannot be permitted to be those persons.

Blood, sweat, tears, and misery suffered does not, automatically, entitle you to positive results. Sisyphus's boulder is a myth that survives to this day for a reason.

And one last thing: You don't get power from a crown, or other position of authority. You get a crown because you have power.

I imagine the scene from GOT last night. A history book of the entire debacle is made with Shane as Tyrion. Unhappy he was never even mentioned.
