Does Monica’s agent have a name? Because one of the more interesting if subtle things in those texts is Ron was clearly reaching out and identifying himself, with the rather apparent subtext that the recipient knew him, knew him by name, and knew him as in some way representative of Monica Rial, as well as his employer. Is Ron Monica’s agent?

According to "shane's brain" extending an offer of money and then conditioning that offer of money on disinviting a guest with an existing contract isn't pressure.

When a convention's existence lives and dies based on whether it can come up with...money.

Shane, Ron doesn't need to waterboard the kamehacon owners and representatives to be applying "pressure".

And the quid pro quo of sponsorship in return for dropping Vic is only half of the tortious interference committed by Ron.

KamehaCon states right there that dropping Vic was solely based on the lies told to them by Ron - that there was both a Sony and a legal investigation of Vic.
 
An additional thought.

It seemed very strange some time ago when I heard Nick claim that KamehaCon was really upset with the two idiots Monica and Ron. I thought at first Nick was just bullshitting to some PR for Vic.

But it is clear now that KamehaCon is really pissed off that they were directly lied to by Ron Soye.

The more I think about it the more I believe having Nick read some of the messages is calcu!ated. It gives the defense a heads up they have them prior to discovery but might also prompt more to show up now the other con people know what's up.
