As a likely relatively nearby kiwi (Chris Yates needs to just shut the fuck up imho if so), I wouldn't say I'm spooked, but I'm not exactly without any apprehension. I've done what I can to prepare, so let come what may.I have never seen so many weather people dooming and panicking about tomorrow.
I am in the direct line of storms that can/will make EF3+ tornadoes, so if I don't post on Thursday you know what happened.
Genuinely fucking spooked.
I secured my patio stuff, put my tools and toys in the shed, strapped some tarps over some work shit I've got on a trailer in my driveway. and garaged my car and favorite truck. My other truck is just gonna have to take it's chances, unless my buddy has space in his warehouse. Waiting on a text to find that out...
I've done what I can to prepare for the possibility and that has mostly assuaged any anxiety I felt. It's enough to prepare for the worst when a real possibility of a rough storm exists. No sense wasting too much more on something I'll never have any control over.
Here's hoping our anxiety/apprehension is for nought, and that us midwest kiwis can all wide out whatever comes secure, comfy and shitposting.
Godspeed!
