During my time here I find myself struggling with text selection. It seems the colour for selected text is black with white text which doesn't particularly stand out on a dark grey background with light grey text. Have you considered changing the selection colour to a light colour (say, the light shade of green in the Kiwi logo gradient) and the text to a dark colour instead? I believe doing this would improve the site's readability somewhat for fellow nearly-blind users who use text selection for reading aid but it is a pretty minor thing.
