Securing Windows 7

This is all very good information. I've been considering downgrading my current PC to W7 when I upgrade soon just for overall performance since W10 is a bit of a resource hog as is, and this thread and all your guys' advice is awesome. Much appreciated and thanks OP for asking in the first place.

Is there a reason you can't use windows 10? Why 7? It's an obsolete OS.

I really don't like windows 10 I find it sickening to use and the PC comes with windows 7 which I really like using so i just kinda want a win7 PC

2. Connect it to the internet for 5 minutes.
3. Realize why this is a god awful idea.
