Use Firestorm http://www.firestormviewer.org/ I had to set my Nvida graphics card as the default for it, slightly less taxing through.

It seems like everyone joined SL in 2007, very few accounts made recently.

One of the more major furry clubs. There are some other ones I used to know about like IFL or Yiffspot but apparently they're dead now. Undertale sims are a good place to look as well.

Here's some context on how the general furry "nightlife" works in this game. You have clubs. A lot of these will autoplay music from a radiostation (like Gay.FM. I'm serious.) but relatively often an actual "dj" will come on with a set of music that he'll play for some amount of time. you can request songs from him, tip them lindens (bought with real money) and that's basically about it. there's also "escorts" (read: whores) that you also throw money at and they'll fuck your avatar. a lot of these clubs will also have small zones where you can place (rez) shit down and mod your avatar to look "unique".

There are sims (places) dedicated to hosting a number of shops that sell furry avatars or parts.

despite having this knowledge however, there's not much i can think of to piss people off in SL anymore. the game have a fairly robust system allowing you to block anything from people down to individual objects, so observation is all you'll get from this unless you want to drop money to "":powerlevel:fit in:powerlevel:"" at some furry club.

I can probably get a "starter kit" assembled if people are really that serious about trying to spy on people, but even then you can just wear some shitty freebie robot avatar and furries will love you for it.

I vaguely remember Second Life. Most of it consisted of really tacky looking dance clubs, poorly laid out shops, and lots really awful sex sims. The default model is barely passable but, the custom ones end up making people look like well oiled Barbie and Ken dolls with cheap yarn or paper for hair.
I have no idea how people end up spending tons of money on this but, if I had to hazard a guess it would be unhealthy amounts of autism.
Last I was on Gambling dens were banned and I think people were getting pissed off over Copybot. They threatened to leave if Liden Labs didn't do anything about it. The rumors varied on what it could do. Some said that it could only copy objects or clothes but, others stated it could copy everything an avatar had and make the user into a clone of whoever they desired. naturally this pissed people off because DONUT STEEL OCs. Whatever happened to Copybot anyway? did Liden Labs ever do anything or is it still around?

I may be willing to lurk around SL community to grab screen caps of some hilariously bad avatar models and whatnot, but I can't see myself wanting to hang around long enough to find cow material.
