Title says most of it, but any thoughts on why this might be? I didn't like everything Ive heard but I can appreciate it as both a musician and a listener. The drone thread was particularly cool, and its nice to hear stuff I'm unfamiliar with stylistically.

But yeah a lot of varied tastes here, and it's a nice break from the formulaic bullshit. Maybe @Null can set up a user managed audio stream like the Lolcow.tv video stream if there is enough interest? Just a thought.

I've always considered myself to be open-minded when it comes to music. I also like laughing at idiots of all shapes and sizes too.

There is no genre of music I can think of that I one-hundred-percent loathe. Modern country and gangsta rap come close but I can think of a couple from each I enjoy (even if it is a guilty pleasure).
