Just a suggestion. We have a crypto board, a games board, an arts board, but not a general technology board for consumer electronics, programming, hardware discussion, etc.

I believe there should be one, just like /g/ but with less Gentoo spergs. Seems weird that Null didn't think about it considering how proficient he is in network + software development. my two cents

but gentoo is the only OS that exists. all others are just cheap knock-offs for lazy people. just go to gentoo forums if you want a tech board.

If you're looking to talk tech you could just make a topic in the general discussion, maybe even a tech megathread. There doesn't seem to be enough demand for a tech board for it to be required at the moment.

Well guys i fucked up. I never wanted an entire subforum just for tech, just a board like Games, Hulkamania, Literature etc, turns out i used the wrong term, sorry.

Anyway this seems the best solution to me, the cryptocurrency craze has died down a lot this year so to revitalize it we should make it a general technology board.

Having a megathread like some of you suggested seems really confusing, if you want to talk about different products all the time it becomes a mess pretty fast.

Yeah, if a necessary a Tech board would probably work best as a A&H sort of deal, as I imagine threads would come in and die out relatively fast, with only a couple having longer lifetimes. Also, I doubt very many around here would want to subscribe to a single "everything tech" megathread. Most people are either interested particularly in phones, software, security, etc I don't think a "hit my with all you got" approach would end up being very succesfull, on a single thread lol
