I shouldn't have to explain because anyone who stumbles on this thread knows about dementia via Alzheimer's and any other form. I've been pretty neurotic as of late so my chances of getting Alzheimer's increase although luckily from what I am aware, It doesn't run in my family but still. Losing your loved ones to dementia really sucks, the person you know and love doesn't recognize you anymore and then it no longer functions. Though I'm not too worried about this myself. Though I love to keep my memories, my anxiety from past trauma, the horrible memories that give me a sick feeling when I think about them. I'm pretty optimistic that if I do end up being diagnosed with dementia, there would be a much better way of treating it as the elderly stage is still far away although some people as young as being in their 20s have reportedly developed dementia. Could you imagine developing dementia at that young of an age, so much of your life wasted. With that being said and from what I am aware. Globalists would hide technology (ex. Look up 1893 Columbus world exposition) and alternative medicine away from us to keep their cash flow going. But because I have been aware of alternative medicine, I would know beforehand if something like losing memory becomes an issue for me. But yeah. I find it pretty sick how they would have a cure for Alzheimer's but never use it on people they really need it for cheap drugs with weird side effects just to keep them dependent. After all, the sick is where they make all the money. And I could only imagine if I am in that Late Stage Dementia phase. Would it be terrifying or surreal, if anything, I wouldn't tell because I wouldn't know.

Long ass rant with personal experience-

There’s different types of dementia, and lifestyle does have something to do with onset and type. I have a close relative with a rare type of early onset due to frontal lobe damage, we had to get guardianship of her to get her diagnosed and care, her prognosis was poor at the time, we tried assisted living facilities with additional 24/7 nursing provided by us to make sure she was safe, those places started out great but eventually were sold and went downhill, we turned to basically making our own nursing home, it has been tremendously expensive, upwards of $250-$500k a year going on 15 years of care now, she’s happy and safe but can’t do anything for herself, doesn’t know who we are, she’s sort of plateaued. If she’d stayed in assisted living or we weren’t able to provide for her she’d have died miserably years ago.
I can tell you that for several years before she was diagnosed it was clear that something was wrong with her, she was diagnosed with various mental illnesses by several doctors, she was hospitalized many times, medicated to hell and back, before we finally found someone that recognized the signs of brain damage and early onset dementia. It was tricky because she was young and she was misdiagnosed for years.
Anyways, not sure what you want to know. I can tell you from my perspective that ‘The Globalists’ I know do not have some great technology they are hiding, if they were I would tell you lol. Maybe Elon’s monkey torture hobby will come up with a cure.
I’ll put it this way- Mr. 69 and I have a promise to end the other’s suffering if one of us ever gets to the point we can’t do it ourselves. KWIM?

I watched as a close relative gradually lost part of herself each time she had a small stroke over several years, until she stopped being her entirely, and was just an empty shell.

That starts happening to me, I'm going to find a gun and blow my fucking brains out. Fuck that for a life.

Most people with dementia don't realize it's happening to them. It's everyone around them who sees it.

She knew what was happening at first. She'd get very frustrated and upset because she couldn't do or remember things. It took a while before she was completely unaware that something was wrong. I'm taking myself out while I'm still self aware.

All but one of my grandparents had dementia when they passed away. And it's funny you mention this, OP: I've recently been going down the rabbit hole of The Caretaker and Everywhere at the End of Time.

I think assisted suicide is immoral, but I hope I don't live long enough to contract dementia. I wanna be in my right mind and say my proper goodbyes when I go.

Even scarier than Alzheimer's or just old-age cognitive degradation is Lewy Body Dementia. It's caused by misfolded proteins in your brain cells, and can cause hallucinations, delusions, paranoia, depression, and anxiety, as well as fucking up your autonomic nervous system. It's what drove Robin Williams to suicide.

It's inevitable. But I'm not scared because while I still remember, I'm gonna do all the fun shit like go skinny dipping in the lake across the way and chase squirrels around the public park while screaming about how they stole my husband. When it progresses to the point where it's no longer fun, I'll take myself out.
