How could anybody look at Nyberg and genuinely think that they're worth the effort? I mean he's an evolutionary deadend whose greatest desire in the world is to shatter the innocence of children, there's literally nothing redeemable about him. I really don't want to belive that I live in a world where people are so stunted that they see nothing wrong with publicly taking up arms to defend some depraved pedophile over such an insignificant cause.

For all intents and purposes they're a cult. It's insanely hard to deprogram cult members, because they take evidence to mean there's a grand conspiracy against them. The stronger the evidence, the bigger they think the conspiracy is. And even if they're convinced it's not a conspiracy, they'll go into some other sort of mental gymnastics about pedos not being so bad or whatever.

I found this video a while back. It's about how cult indoctrination works. The example given is scientology, but it's very easy to draw parallels to how SJWs operate.

I started following Daily Kos because they were part of some campaign either against SOPA or for saving net neutrality. Sad to see they've gone off the deep end.

On that note, isn't it massively hypocritical that so many critics of SOPA/ACTA/etc. and supporters of Net Neutrality have become SJWs?

Some of them seem to draw a weird line. They lump ACTA/SOPA etc. in as government censorship, which is bad. Censorship by private organisations and people is fine, so that's why they petition businesses to silence wrong thinkers. The act becomes okay if done by the right actor, which fits nicely with the tendency to play dirty, using tactics they decry if used against them, so long as the target is the out-group. They're mental people. While it was not without its faults, and prone to sperging euphoria, there was a critical thinking aspect that went straight down the shitter as soon as some big names saw they could get sweet Internet monies and the chance of a pat on the head from someone with a vagina. Like with most things, so much of it is window dressing that is readily discarded or redefined as needed.

It's very capitalistic of them how much power they want in the hands of private corporations answerable only to stockholders.

Twitter's stockholders may be less than pleased with the direction of the company, though.
 

Yes, this is the "reopen the death camps for Gamergate" guy. I'm shocked that he was so sensible with regards to Nyberg.

What other anti-GG people didn't jump on the bandwagon? I know that Anita, McIntosh and MovieBob never defended txir.
