The name gave me that impression too. A lot of them have Asian features as well since they were Asians who migrated from Siberia through Alaska to wherever they would end up in the Americas. Hispanics with more European ancestry will have more wavy or curly hair, but the ones with more indigenous ancestry, they end up with straighter hair more typical of Natives/Asians.FYI: if you see someone who looks like a stereotypical beaner but has a generic European name, they're usually an Injun. I had a coworker a long time ago who looked and dressed like a stereotypical spic gangsta, but spoke with a normal American accent and had a generic British sounding name like John Smith or Robert Watson or something. I found out he was actually Native and from a nearby reservation.
