................... This feels fucking weird, seeing this show finally wrapping up.

Just knowing that a large part of my childhood has finally concluded is like a huge weight has lifted off my shoulders. I can't wait to see what Genndy does next.

I knew it was going to be bittersweet, so I held it together through the end. I knew time shenanigans would surely play a part.

...and then the ladybug just had me in tears.

It's been thirteen years. I can't believe I lived to see this. I can't believe it's all finally over.

Ending wrecked me. I was hoping that the gods might reward Jack for his accomplishments in the future by keeping Ashi alive but nope. So now there's a pitiful black empty hole where my heart used to be.

Great season. I still kind of feel like there needs to be more but I'm just glad we made it this far and got the series back, if only for a short while.

I didn't cry, but goddamn that was heart-wrenching. The ending itself, and the fact that the series ended. Now I have one of those "right in the childhood" feels.

Gentlemen, it has been an honor shitposting with you.

I absolutely LOVED how the old intro was used for Aku's message.

I can't believe the show is finally over.

I know Genndy didn't intentionally plan for this ending to be similar to TTGL's ending, but felt that way. Overall I loved the ending (I'm a sucker for bittersweet endings). Though...

....Jack needs a hug
I knew I couldn't have been the only one who got a Gurren Lagann vibe from the ending
Only difference here is that they didn't even make it to the end of the wedding before Ashi went poof
Anyway that was probably the best finale for any animated show I've ever seen.

That episode.... @Aquinas wasn't kidding.

That really was a bittersweet ending. Even though Ashi no longer exists, Aku is destroyed, Jack is back home, and the world will never experience the destruction Aku would've wrought. This was a satisfying ending to one of the best cartoon series of all time.
