It was just really badly explained and set up, the sub goal only counting new subs and not people upgrading from gumroad/lower tiers, it being on youtube to where it would seem like youtubes memberships/gifted memberships would count, they should have just done a dono goal of 30k.

Like the most a single person could do is 1 sub, and they would have to be brand new to mdetv.

if he read superchats while gaming instead of just gaming they would have made way more money lol. and i called him Scam Hyde in jest, i dont really care that he didnt read superchats but it would have been a wise decision if the goal was to make money. same if they actually got an Asmongold appearance which isnt outside the realm of possibility, he actually likes Sam's content. if Darksydephil got an Asmon interview im sure Sam could have gotten an Asmon cameo. even if you dont like him it could have been a funny interaction and the paypigs would have came out in droves.
 
Complaining about ProtonMail and Signal because he doesn't know what G Suite is then pivoting to how open source software maybe shouldn't exist while running his stream on OBS has to be one of the most low IQ sequences of opinions I've ever heard.

Unfortunate that Sam is still running defense for spic Fuentes during Katamari dynasty. I really dislike that Sam can’t seem to do due diligence of finding out why people have grievances with Fuentes.

Yeah I do not understand this at all. I think there is some genuine loyalty, see his the way hes spoken to/about the quartering, who presumably helped him get his bullshit coffee set up. That being said I think the reality of it is that Sam is aware that he is on a timer, he has said as much before. Fuentes has at least another decade in him, maybe more, and Sam can capitalize on that. Fuentes openly said in the last week immigration doesn't matter anymore, has been on and off shilling for democrats. Like you'd think what Fuentes said about those white girls that got run over at the Christmas parade would have been enough.

I've been day one on the Gumroad and have the grandfathered deal, cannot fathom why Sam thinks anything he's doing is going to encourage people to ever leave the $5 a month deal they set the OGs up on lol. PSC would have been funny if they leaned into the irony of it like RLM did with Nerd Crew, but they really just became a slop gaming channel thinking it was passive income and they aren't going to ever get the audience boom they think they can.

What other people have said, can't imagine it helps with the revelation Joyride as a game seems to have been scrapped entirely - which is what people thought they were funding for close to a decade now. Just really can't comprehend where Sam's head is at now, which sucks because RenMen is a good bit and he clearly can still cook when he wants to.

this pisses me off too. but based on even this stream's rants about how annoying fans can be, he probably wants to avoid a disavowal simply to avoid dealing with groypers. it would be an incessant wave of nu-marky era detractors
 
I think a big part of why Sam refuses to cut ties with Fuentes or be willing to listen to any criticism of him is due to Fuentes being anti-semitic. There aren't many mainstream people that openly name the jew like he does and he sees every jew hater as an ally.

Except he's siding with Fuentes over Jake Shields and Dan Bilzerian.
 
The sub-a-thon was a total disaster. Sam has spent years bragging about being a multi-millionaire and flaunting his luxury spending habits. During the stream he was trying out racing simulator accessories. Insane that he's paying some guy to physically be there so he can test different handbrakes. I think the older fans are mostly done giving him MORE money. He's made millions selling merch, WP2 was funded by an angel investor, even his BTC wallet from the KSTV intros had like 15 BTC donated. He was making bank off Gumroad while Nick was running a failing antiques business and Chuck was living in a shitty apartment with no light switch plates.

IMO that stream was far more embarrassing than the Gorilla Nest™ incident.
