Well to be fair, this thread, and the gen-z/a internet in general, has a big problem with people making stuff up and nobody verifying anything or caring to fact check at all. Someone said Charles "would trust a robot to accurately index information for him to digest" without any context and you're making assumptions about his beliefs based off of that. Someone using Chat GPT is different than someone "trusting" Chat GPT, whatever tf that means.
Even if computer chips were intentionally designed to be satanic by demonic nerds it doesn't make you a hypocrite for using computers and even if it did, who cares?? A person being a hypocrite doesn't mean they're wrong.

Feeling the need to point out that sometimes, in certain scenarios, with the right group of friends, sports can be enjoyable makes you look incredibly sus, as the kids say. No shit weirdo. I go to games. I even spend $22 for a beer. It doesn't mean I can't see the propaganda for what it is. There is nothing gay about appreciating the positive qualities of other people. In any talent-based field, this is how people improve—by looking at what others do right. It's natural to human nature, and you'll see it everywhere. Whether in comedy, music, computer science, law, or sports, people will always look at how others succeed and appreciate it. Without this innate appreciation, people wouldn't strive to be their best selves. So no, you cannot call watching sports gay unless you believe any entertainment that involves real people to be gay as well.
Football is not unique in being a non-intellectual activity. In the modern day half our economy revolves around such things, like most of TV, movies, video games, and smut books. So no, football is not some uniquely destructive activity that saps young men of their potential. It's just another form of entertainment, and if they weren't watching it, it'd probably be something else unproductive.
First of all 6% of NFL players have a criminal record compared to 25% of the general population. They are not criminals. Second of all, a kid looking up to an athlete just means they're going to be more physically active; most white kids, when questioned, don't want to be athletes. To the contrary, most Black kids, when asked, want to be athletes. So if sports are hurting any demographic, it would be Black people since for every successful football player, there are thousands of failed athletes.
This really just speaks to your insecurity. Like I said before, there's nothing wrong with appreciating a quality in someone that you don't possess. People watch and appreciate musicians, singers, artists, comedians, writers, ect and then speak about their positive qualities. Football is just like any other field. Due to the very selective nature of the NFL the players in there are both physically fit and incredibly talented. There are white-dominated sports that people enjoy as well. MMAs top athletes are all white. Are you gay for watching MMA or is it only when a Black guy is successful?
Not being from their city applies to white guys as well and almost all of entertainment in general.
Please explain how a meritocratic sport having a higher percentage of Black people is propaganda. Is golf and MMA propaganda for having mostly white people? The Jews must really be painting the Indo-Aryan white race as some barbaric golf-club-wielding fighters, huh?

What I have in common with a politically-differently aligned online friend is that we both share a certain fan-level fondness for Charls and a concern that his reluctant re-partnering with Sam is very much in the territory of battered wife syndrome. I used to hang out on his Twitch streams, and it was cozy af, watching Eugene O'Neill plays, &c., and he seemed to be on some really straight-and-narrow trip. He seemed genuinely interested in mainstream Christianity and not in a grifterish manner. He would talk about some fringe topics as well.
I haven't believed in god since 4th grade, but whatever Charls was doing seemed to work for him, so I wouldn't naysay it. Likewise, if the fringe things work for him, same deal. He isn't trying to get me to join a cult, and he isn't even a minor political influencer.
I'm more likely to object openly to people promoting what I see as comped sources pushing poison-pilled memes than to speak up when someone has more spirituality in their life than I do.
I still maintain that whatever is actually happening with him might reach a point at which sharp objects are not a good mix.

I think you are legitimately a retard and a bad person if you can sit through an NFL game on TV without getting mad at the undeniable constant stream of propaganda in 4k.
If you want to say something like well yeah we're not talking about the NFL we're talking about some other sport, as if it's any different, then so be it. The actual athletic accomplishments have taken a backseat to social commentary and it has for a long time. Everybody knows this. If you like watching sports you probably like commerical breaks every 20 minutes in a movie you paid to stream. There is no high ground on this. Say you have a good time going to games with your friends and family.
