There's two kinds of people benefitting on the short-term from hookup culture: vast majority of women and a select percentage of high-value men. The high-valueness is based on physical characteristics only, most importantly face and height (race too, pajeets and other nonwhites are at a massive disadvantage, but let's pretend we're in a fully white society).
Here lies the fundamental difference between the sexes: the main imperative of a woman is to have the best quality offspring she can have. She is the one giving birth, she is the sexual gatekeeper, she gets to pick her mate, not vice-versa. Thing about women is that they would rather die childless than get impregnated by a man that doesn't pass her genetic fitness test. This is why women are hypergamous by nature, the men they pick will in almost all cases be higher value than them.
Men on the other hand have one biological goal, spread their seed as far and wide as possible, aka impregnate as many women as possible. The genetic fitness means jack shit in this case, you'll find men will literally have sex with down-syndrome landwhales because the genetic fitness of the woman doesn't matter. Men don't have to go through the painful process of childbirth, so the most effective strategy is to spread your genetic code out to as many women as you possibly can.
This is the base human nature because we're extremely sexually dymorphic species. Women by default are born on the dead center of the bell curve (most of them are 100 IQ midwits) while men are born on the extreme ends (many retards, many gifted men).

I don't want to blackpill people. You can still have relationships with women, not all of them are retarded whores and also if you're white you're at a huge advantage. Engaging in hookup culture with non-whites at least for me is piss easy since I'm 6'3" white, but then again why would I want to? Engaging in hookup culture means you're following your animalistic instincts, you're operating on a lower cognitive level to satisfy your primal urges, which is what a nigger would do.
