If you don't see even just a little bit of irony in Sam preaching about the evils of weed while having very obvious potheads like Chris Lynch, bicflame, Nick and Jet working for him I don't know what to say. I really don't think it's some crazy thing to point out. Sam clearly doesn't smoke but hiring a bunch of guys who do while disliking it is pretty funny.

I don't think you understand how many posters have come in this thread to post their extremely biting and catty commentary "exposing" Sam Hyde because he hangs out with people who smokes weed, like it's a major character flaw that cancels out his entire lifes work. That is not an exaggeration. You read the thread so you should remember.

Sam's sphere of influence is huge. He's running some type of pro-fitness art collective out of his studio. The stoner guys he work with see him as a mentor and father-figure. He is constantly getting them to spar, lift and work out. You can catch glimpses of it all the time. Him saying "your life would be better if you put the weed down" is just an overall true statement. It doesn't negate anything. They're video editors and camera operators in their early 20s pursuing their own creative ambitions in their off-time, of course they smoke weed.

They make grand claims that Sam constantly professes and preaches the gospel of Jesus Christ to his fanbase but when you ask to see clips proving it the best you'll get is a compilation of him saying that there is nothing wrong with believing in a higher power and that reddit atheists are so annoying they'll drive a man to religion. The other stuff in the complication are guests on his podcast giving their own opinions about religion.

I don't want to move the goalpost or do any gay debate stuff. I'm just of the opinion that "exposing hypocrisy" is not a valid character assassination and if you think that it is then you have some type of mental issue. That's another thing that's been "exposed" in this thread constantly: The MADI fanbase is full of people who are autistic to the point that they can't understand any type of nuance. It's a real problem.

Sam always takes very extreme views on degeneracy and then gives even the basest "functional degenerates" a pass if they agree with him politically.

I think like 99% of the sam criticism that isn't markyposting is just kinda silly, because his whole gig is just giving people basic "clean your room, get a skill, and don't jerk off all day" advice.

It absolutely is though. Why should anyone believe a word you say, or take you seriously, when you don't practice what you preach? Especially when you position yourself as an influencer.

You might as well be telling everyone you know to eg buy SpaceX stock, when behind the scenes you know it's going to a tank and are shorting the thing.

And actions often speak louder than words, so a person's real life actions may paint a truer picture of who they are than whatever selective spiel they give to an audience on video for clicks.

No, it isn't. It's an autistic cop out. There is not one person on the planet who isn't a hypocrite. Smoking weed is bad for mental health and productivity. It's just a verifiable fact. It doesn't matter if the graphics editor working in your studio smokes weed. The statistics don't change. He even addresses that exact point in the same video people use to cite his anti-weed stance. Not that it matters if he addressed it or not because it's actually irrelevant.

Those posts make Marky posters seem like Socrates in comparison.

Obviously everyone will be a hypocrite about something at some point to some degree, but there are clearly instances which are more significant than others. Also, not everyone is trying to make money from selling the advice or image which they are then in reality completely contradicting.

I mean, it's one thing to be a slight hypocrite by e.g. telling a friend who smokes 10 a day that they should stop because it's bad for their health, then having maybe one cigarette at a party a few years later. It's another thing to e.g. marketing yourself as a white nationalist, while making mixed-race babies.

Yeah the criticism of "he is hanging out with people that don't adhere to his philosophy" is not substantial imho. He either constantly bullies them to change them for the better and honest about his stance or just a business relationship. I take Sam's advice as more of a guy smoking cigarettes warning to not smoke rather than a guy acting holier-than-thou.

Holidays don't mean anything to me. Anymore. I used to have a nice life and a good family. A loyal wife and white children. That was when this thread was on page 350. I used to post and get so many positive reactions - Agrees, Likes and especially Winners. My wife would always ask to read my posts and she would be so proud of me. She respected my good points and rational debate skills. She looked into the Marky posting and didn't even really mind it.

Something changed around page 450. People started posting about how Sam Hyde hires potheads despite claiming he was anti-weed. It was easy for me to debate those people, at first. But they kept showing up, page after page for a hundred pages and even more. My wife started giving me so much shit about it. She would yell at me, screaming that if I was a good enough poster I would make the haters stop coming to the thread. My debate skills weren't working. I still got Winners and Agrees but now there was Dumb and Autistics sprinkled in. And then someone showed up and said that if Sam was a so-called Christian than why did he commit sin. That was the moment everything changed. The "Game Changer." That was when it was over and she finally had enough. She left and she took the kids. Restraining order, custody battle, everything. I still battle in this thread hoping to win my wife back. I am literally fighting for my life. I doubt she even reads it anymore. She's probably moved on to another man, in another thread. But I still try and I always will. No holiday for me. Just another day to fight in my wretched hell of a life.
