There is literally only one way this can be fixed.

Open the trailer for the next Saints Row game with the four new twinks...

Only for the Boss, Johnny Gat, Peirce and Shaundi to immediately brutally murder them in crude and ironic ways.
 
I don't even know if I want them to move on or not.

On the one hand, them sticking by this game seems like they're doing it out of spite for the real fans.

On the other, if they move onto another project that's a new blight on the consumers.

Either way, gamers are still going to rise up. That is, when they stop pre-ordering and consooming the same kinds of pre-order benefits that have done nothing but make this game into complete unplayable agitprop.

No, I am never going to stop referencing what's-his-face from SR3 whenever waffle stuff from this new game is brought up, because when he told Gat he was Belgian instead of French despite his faggy-ass name and accent Gat told him to go make a fucking waffle.

Judging by Borderlands, Gearbox writing has been in freefall for ages now
One thing I'll give Nu Saints Row is that it's merely out of touch and tonedeaf, not as horribly obnoxious as Borderlands
 
Gearbox and Volition just go together so perfectly. Both are completely tactless and ruin everything they touch. Maybe Saints Row II (2026) will have a minigame where the boss has to squirt liquid out of xis front hole at enemy gang members in the middle of a Medieval Times
